Get ready for Brazil's biggest butchering event! At Butcher Wars 2025, you'll have the chance to showcase your skill and creativity in an exciting challenge. Each competitor will have 30 minutes to cut, debone, and present cuts of meat in a layout worthy of the best butcher shops. Use your imagination to create value-added, eye-catching, and innovative cuts.

How to participate?
Registration is officially open for Butcher's Wars 2025, a competition that brings together the best butchers from Brazil and around the world in a thrilling challenge of technique, precision, and creativity in cutting meat. The duel will take place during the Churrascada 2025 Festival on August 23rd and promises to be one of the event's highlights.
To apply, interested parties must complete the form below with their personal information and professional qualifications. Selected participants will be chosen by the competition's Chief Judge based on the following criteria: technical skill in cutting and presentation, demonstrated by photos, videos, or social media, and professional experience verified by a brief resume.
Applications must be submitted by July 20, 2025, at 10:00 am. Selected candidates will be notified of their approval by July 30, 2025, when they will receive an official invitation to participate in Butcher's Wars 2025.
Selected competitors must pay a registration fee of R$350.00, which guarantees their official participation in the competition and also a ticket to enjoy 10 hours of barbecue, music, and incredible experiences at the Churrascada Festival 2025.
The event organizers are not responsible for travel, lodging, or food expenses before, during, or after the competition – these are the responsibility of each participant. On the day of the event, each competitor must bring their own utensils and materials for personal use, including (but not limited to): knives, steels, holsters, hooks, thread, string, needles, elastic bands, displays, decorations, fruits, vegetables, and seasonings necessary for the presentation.
Before the start of the competition, a briefing will be held with all participants to clarify the rules and answer any questions. Personal Utensils:
Each competitor must bring their own knives, sharpening steels, knife holster, hook, thread, string, needles, elastic bands, display, decorations, fruits, vegetables, and all other necessary objects and seasonings for the presentation. The competition support team will provide the second protein and the display.
Rules
Keep the knife in the holster and keep it sharp.
You do not need to use all the proteins, but rather use the chosen pieces.
Keep the area clean and tidy upon entry and exit.
Signal when you need the second protein, display, and when the competition ends.
You must also explain your work in detail to the audience after the presentation.
At the signal indicating the end of the allotted time, you must immediately stop production.
