The originality of this series, filled with thought-provoking and unusual portraits of chefs, stems from the original drama of the act of cooking. An alchemy that begins with the death of an animal or plant, to produce food and thus guarantee life. Life and death intertwine and give the tone and density of the portraits produced in this essay.
